Cultivating your creativity exercises are designed to open up the right side of the brain. Go slow and think of them as moving meditations. Do not judge your outcomes, simply be – like a child – happily in the moment.
- Obtain sketch book or printer paper. Lined paper works too. Etc.
- Designate a time everyday.
- Work on small artistic goal. (For example: 1. I will draw a few stick figures every day after dinner. OR 2. I will draw a large city one building at a time for 10 minutes 3 times a week.)
- If you like, keep track of your accomplishment (perhaps in the front of your sketch book). Ex. Week of 9-7 M-x T-O W-x Th-x F-O etc.
